Hope everyone is doing great and having a Safe Day! The lovely residents of the Red White and Blue are celebrating today. Just wanted to share some July 4th 2016 memories with you guys… from planners, outfits, and a little history! I want to first say Thank you to all my readers and supporters of my Blog, IG, Facebook, Youtube and tumblr!
It is not a great day without the OOTD(outfit of the day) I have recently dyed my hair red again, which was the best decision for me, even though I have to be careful what I wear due to the bleeding of my hair cause the dye was not concentrated, it still bleeds when wet 😦 (red stuff everywhere) but I love it.
2nd week in my new Happy Planner , I am running low on sticker kits so I decided to take the CheapCraftyGirl(Awesome Youtuber Click for link to her channel) way. I created my own little Red White and Blue Spread. I did the same thing for the Personal Size planner (Below). I used what I had. I didn’t get to decorate last year around this time because I received my HP after my mother’s bday.

We celebrate American Independence Day on the Fourth of July every year. We think of July 4, 1776, as a day that represents the Declaration of Independence and the birth of the United States of America as an independent nation.
Independence Day July 4th. On July 4, 1776, we claimed our independence from Britain and Democracy was born. Every day thousands leave their homeland to come to the “land of the free and the home of the brave” so they can begin their American Dream. The United States is truly a diverse nation made up of dynamic people.
Storyline Of the movie In the 1930s, Jesse Owens is a young man who is the first in his family to go to college. Going to Ohio State to train under its track and field coach, Larry Snyder, the young African American athlete quickly impresses with his tremendous potential that suggests Olympic material. However, as Owens struggles both with the obligations of his life and the virulent racism against him, the question of whether America would compete at all at the 1936 Olympics in Nazi Germany is being debated vigorously. When American envoy, Avery Brundage, finds a compromise personally persuasive and tolerable enough with the Third Reich to avert a boycott, Owens has his own moral struggle on whether to go. Upon resolving that issue, Owens and his coach travel to Berlin to participate in a competition that would mark Owens as the greatest of the American Olympians even as the German film director, Leni Riefenstahl, locks horns with her country’s Propaganda Minister, Josef Goebbels, to film the politically

I truly have to say that this movie could not have came out at a better time. We need more movies to let young people know not just African Americans that they are very much capable for changing the world, even when it seems scary and frighting. I love biography movies for the main reason that when you watch or read about someone, and their tribute to life itself it encourages you to do so much more. I have learned many things from this movie not only that CHANGE can happen even with a SINGLE person. JESSE OWENS has made world breaking changes that should not be forgotten. I truly enjoyed this movie , I recommend everyone to watch this movie. Its a Wonderful History lesson about RACISM, UNITY and standing up for what you believe in even if the world does not give a damn about you, whether its because of the Color of your skin or your religion.
This movie takes place during the time of Hitler’s Reign over Germany, as well as the Segregation of African Americans and White people. The Two most difficult times I truly feel due to I am both African American and German. In order to learn who you are you much understand and learn where you come from. The German’s where in the process of taking away all rights against the Jews and anyone who was not WHITE . I appreciate the clarity in this movie and the way they portrayed these important historical events because, you truly do not get to experience the moments of history as your parents to ancestors but in movies. This movie shows the beauty of Unity and the Overcoming of trials and tribulations and anyone could go through. Jesse Owens was an AFRICAN AMERICAN MAN who not only had to deal with people trying to discourage him because of his SKIN COLOR but also not worrying about what other people taught and do what he enjoyed to do.
I apologize if anyone is offended by this Review… I am not a racist by any means.. just an honest opinion and my thoughts on this amazing movie that I had to honor of watching.
