NewYork 2016: Week One

image  August 30th,2016, I flew from Oklahoma to New York to Visit my big sister and my nephew. I have not seen them in six months, and with everything that I am going through mentally and emotionally it was very much needed to be around my sister.  I have been to New York before but, not long enough to enjoy the air.

Flying out of Will Rogers airport at 11:30 am to Charlotte,North Carolina for a 3 hour layover, which was not that bad. It was so awesome to be in the Tar Heel State, and even with tempation of Tar Heel and Panther apparel everywhere i kept my composure.

When I was flying over New York and saw the lights it was super beautiful! Seeing my sister was awesome, I did not cry at all, I am sure leaving will cause water works though.

DAY ONE : Wednesday August 31st,2016

Got my metro card(transportation pass) and we went grocery shopping as well as checking Target for planner goods.  It is a lot of walking but, definitely not something to complain about . I am getting all my exercise while  I  am here .

It was a very gloomy day and it was raining so we stayed inside all day. My sister and I were planing in our Happy Planners while my nephew was sleep. We ate some yummy Chili and Sweet potato fries.  Watches the Secret life of Pets, which was a cute movie . We were jamming to Pandora and just bonding with each other, telling her about love, work and other everyday things.

Captain America WOTG by MJC100It is not a great day without the OOTD(outfit of the day) I have recently dyed my hair red again, which was the best decision for me, even though I have to be careful what I wear due to the bleeding of my hair cause the dye was not concentrated, it still bleeds when wet 😦 (red stuff everywhere) but I love it.

IMG_2990  Captain America WOTG by MJC100 2nd week in my new  Happy Planner , I am running low on sticker kits so I decided to take the CheapCraftyGirl(Awesome Youtuber Click for link to her channel) way. I created my own little Red White and Blue Spread. I did the same thing for the Personal Size planner (Below). I used what I had. I didn’t get to decorate last year around this time because I received my HP after my mother’s bday.

Bucky Barnes - Captain America by haydnc95 History Lesson!

We celebrate American Independence Day on the Fourth of July every year. We think of July 4, 1776, as a day that represents the Declaration of Independence and the birth of the United States of America as an independent nation.

Independence Day July 4th. On July 4, 1776, we claimed our independence from Britain and Democracy was born. Every day thousands leave their homeland to come to the “land of the free and the home of the brave” so they can begin their American Dream. The United States is truly a diverse nation made up of dynamic people.
